Bluffton Police Department Chief Christopher Chapmond will present the topic of dealing with an active shooter.  Chief joined the Bluffton Police Department in August 2018.

Prior to moving to the Lowcountry, Chapmond worked with the Hot Springs Police Department in Arkansas. He joined the force there in 1996. Chapmond held various positions to include Field Operations Captain, Patrol Lieutenant, Coordinator of the 18^th East Drug Task Force and Co-Commander of the Hot Springs SWAT (Special Weapons and Response Team). Before leaving the Hot Springs Police Department, Chapmond served as the Assistant Chief overseeing the daily operations and managing a staff of 145 employees.
