About our Speaker

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Trey graduated from Mercer University in 1995 with a degree in Political Science. After spending several years in the technology industry, Trey started his insurance career in 2001. He has expertise in large employer health plans, clients with multi-state locations, enrollment technology, PPACA, HIPAA and benefits design. In 2013, Trey was chosen as one of five national finalists for Benefits Selling Magazine’s Broker of the Year. He has served on the JHA National Broker Advisory Board and in 2014, he was appointed to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina’s Honor Council as well as QuadMed’s Partners in Business Council. Trey is also an advisor with The Harbour Accelerator and a member of The Hibernian Society. He enjoys coaching his sons’ soccer teams and attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
