Apprenticeship 101: How apprenticeship as a workforce development tool can help companies solve their talent needs

Access to qualified talent is one of the biggest issues facing South Carolina companies. Apprenticeship Carolina is on a mission to help employers around the state utilize registered apprenticeship programs as a way to find solutions to this issue and develop lasting changes to support their future workforce. In today’s webinar, local Beaufort employers will learn:

  • What registered apprenticeship is and how it can be used as a workforce development tool to solve an employer’s workforce issues such as a lack of available qualified talent, ageing workforce populations nearing retirement, high turnover, and lack of standardized skill sets
  • How apprenticeship differs from other workforce solutions available such as traditional on-the-job training or internships
  • Specific resources available to companies in the Lowcountry through Apprenticeship Carolina and the Technical College of the Lowcountry
