About Our Speaker:

Marielena DiMatteo joined the Bluffton branch of Finance of America Mortgage as a Loan Officer Assistant in
January 2020 and after intense training with the Xinnix Mortgage Academy and studying for the national
exam, obtained her license as a Mortgage Advisor in July 2020. Since obtaining her license, Marielena
has successfully closed 16 loans, with 5-star reviews, and hopes to double that number in her second
year as a Mortgage Advisor.
Prior to joining Finance of America, Marielena has worked in many different industries, beginning her
administrative career at IBM and Kraft Foods; followed by Real Estate Sales; Admissions Director for The
Graham school, serving inner-city youth; founding Director of a Ronald McDonald House, Church
Executive Administrator; and most recently held leadership positions in HR, as well as Executive Director
of a local Non-Profit Organization, serving Special Needs adults. She is currently the Board President of
SOAR Special Recreation of the Lowcountry/Special Olympics.
Marielena has a passion for serving and helping to improve the lives of others and her
career as a Mortgage Advisor keeps her passion alive by helping others in one of their biggest decisions -
making their dream of home ownership a reality.
